Tip! Maintenance and care of the haematology analyser
Maintenance and care of the haematology analyser
The haematology analyser is a commonly used blood analyser with a very high daily workload. If we want to keep the instrument in good working condition for a long time and achieve the measurement accuracy set by the instrument, we must do a good job of cleaning and maintaining the instrument. Today, we will talk about the points that need to be noted in the maintenance of the blood cell analyser ~~~.
At the end of each work session, the instrument is automatically emptied and cleaned by inhaling the cleaning solution. In the case of continuous use, a shutdown should be performed at least every 24 hours to keep the instrument pipeline clean. Clean the storage tank, clean the manual feed cup, clean the feed rotary valve tank, clean the feed tank, remove leukocyte clots, clean the leukocyte test holes, remove air bubbles from the flow chamber, etc.
Specific maintenance:
1, must look at the manufacturer’s maintenance requirements, daily maintenance, weekly maintenance, monthly maintenance, or longer cycles of maintenance. What items are included and must be done as required.
2、Maintain the instrument with special attention to the storage environment of the instrument. Moisture-proof, dust-proof, keep the operating table clean, these are very important. Dust and dirt will affect the service life of the motor and solenoid valve; moisture will easily cause rust and corrosion of mechanical parts.
3、After using the blood rheology analyser, check whether the drain is clear after the cleaning work and clean the liquid tank with a soft and clean paper towel. If there are contaminants such as blood clots or fibrin in the liquid tank, use warm water with a neutral detergent (e.g. dishwashing liquid) to clean it.
4. Clean the waste tank daily and test the sensitivity and reliability of the reed switch sensor inside the bottle. When testing, turn the lid of the waste bottle upside down and the screen of the instrument shows that the bottle is full, indicating that it is normal, if not, seek help from an engineer.
5. Remove the crystals in time, find corroded wire plates and wipe them clean. Use deionised water and just wipe dry with gauze or cotton swabs. The use of anhydrous ethanol is prohibited. The screw used requires lubricant, and anhydrous ethanol wiping will reduce lubrication.
The haematology analyser needs to be cleaned every month or so of operation for open sampling components and automatic sampling components. Maintenance of the probe cleaning fluid requires cleaning of the blood separation valve, flow chamber or the entire machine with probe cleaning fluid. When the analyser has been in operation for approximately two months, clean the blood separation valve manually. Regular maintenance is very important if you want your instrument to be in top condition and to last for a long time.
